The Compiler Network

This section contains subjects and references relevant to the EuroFIR Compiler Network.

Documents are ordered by subject. Information will be updated as more information becomes available.


 The Compiler Network
   
The Compiler Network, involving DFI, AFSSA, DFVF, NFA, IFR, NUBEL, NCPHP, KTL, BfEL, UiO, NFNI, UCC, BGU, INRAN/CSPO, NEVO, INSA, CESNID/UGR, ICETEC, GUT/UVI, FRI, NKUA, TUBITAK, ETHZ, NNC, IMR & FVS-FC, plays a central role in the implementation of the EuroFIR databank system.

Based on the input from the three task groups, the compilers will describe the foods and document component values in the regional/national/specialised datasets according to the harmonised and standardised criteria defined by the Food Identification and description and CEN Standard task groups.

The Compiler Network will deliver the documented datasets to be included in the EuroFIR databank system.

2nd Compiler Network meeting, 18-20 March 2008

As decided at the Compiler Meeting in Paris, March 2007, the next Compiler Network meeting will take place in Norwich in March 2008. The venue for this meeting will be Assembly House, Norwich. View venue.

Quality Training Course, Geel, Belgium, 8-9 November 2007

The planned Compiler Network meeting in autumn 2007 was replaced by a Quality Training course for the compilers, 8-9 November 2007 at IRMM, Geel, Belgium.

1st Compiler Network meeting, Paris, March 2007

The first Compiler Network Meeting took place at AFSSA, Paris, 5-6 March 2007 - followed by the EuroFIR Value Documentation trining Course and Food Description Training Course.
