AFSSA is situated in the vicinity of Paris at the station École
Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort (metro line 8). When you exit the metro
station, choose the exit "Numéros impairs". At street
level, turn 180 degrees. AFSSA is situated on the left a few minutes walk
down the road. More information on AFSSA and the suggested hotels
here.

The Parisian metro is the easiest and most reliable means of
transportation in Paris. For more information and a map of the metro, see
ratp.fr.
Tickets can be bought at all metro stations. One ticket is valid for one
ride on all the metro system. If you (most likely) are going to use the metro several
times, is most convenient and cheapest to buy "un carnet" (10 tickets); the
cost is about 17 euros.Be aware that there are two train transportation
systems in the Parisian area the RER (the regional trains) and the Metro
(the metropolitan area). The RER (serving the airport Charles de Gaulle) has
different tarification than the Metro.
Metro tickets are valid on the RER inside the Parisian area, but you
need special tickets for the RER outside Paris, for example from/to the
Charles de Gaulle airport and to/from Paris. |
