The European Databases:

These pages include the most recent information about the food composition databases in European.

The food composition database information is based on an inventory (D1.6.1) carried out by the EuroFIR work packages 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 in 2005 and the information has been updated when new information has become available from the food composition data compilers.

Organisation of the inventory data

The inventory is structured by countries. For each country, the major institutions involved in the production or compilation of food composition databases are listed. For each institution, the information given by the the institution is listed.
