Training Course on Total Diet Studies

BfR is hosting a three-day Total Diet Study training course, sponsored by WHO and targeted at representatives from countries wishing to initiate a TDS, which will provide insight into theoretical and practical aspects for conducting a Total Diet Study.

Introductory and Advanced Courses in Dietary Assessment Methods

Introductory Course 2020: 8th July (Rowett Institute, Foresterhill Health Campus, University of Aberdeen, UK)
Advanced Course 2020: 9-11th July 2020 (Rowett Institute, UK)

Both courses are intensive and interactive in nature; places are strictly limited to ensure that all participants can engage with the tutors and the group as a whole and the introductory course is offered to ensure those attending the advanced course have the expected knowledge. The advanced course is designed for researchers, dietetic and nutritional practitioners, and those who would like to further their training in dietary assessment methods. Developed and run by the University of Aberdeen dietary assessment team a group with a wide range of experience including staff from the Public Health Nutrition Research Group, the Musculoskeletal Research Group and the Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health.

These courses bring together current knowledge and best practice on dietary assessment for nutrition research and clinical and public health practice.

ISEKI-Food 2020

ISEKI-Food Association (European Association for Integrating Food Science and Engineering Knowledge Into the Food Chain) and the Cyprus University of Technology are organising the 6th International ISEKI-Food Conference, which will explore the theme Sustainable development goals in food systems: challenges and opportunities for the future.
