     The competition was open to any original scientific considering exploitation of food information, commercial or research. Congratulations to Romane Poinsot (MS Nutrition), Hannah Pinchen (QIB) and Rachel Barrat (MRC)!

    We are pleased to announce the winners of our bi-annual Poster Competition! The competition was open to any original scientific research on “Food Composition, intake & consumption information”. Congratulations to Hannah Pinchen (Quadram Bioscience Institute, UK), Kristy Trigg (Medical Research Council Elsie Widdowson Laboratory, UK) and to Nicola Lynch (Nutritics, IE) for their work! Each of them received access license to Nutritics recipe calculation software and Nicola received a gift voucher.

    Poster competition 2016

    At the EuroFIR Food Forum 2016 we were pleased to host our first scientific poster competition.

    The competition was open to any original scientific research providing it meets the required format and could be categorised under one of the three topics (see below).

    Abstracts were submitted and candidates that were successful were asked to develop their abstracts into posters for presentation at the Food Forum symposium. There also were awards for the best abstract and poster in each of the three following categories, based on scientific content and presentation:

    We are pleased to announce that Nutritics – Professional Nutrition Analysis Software,  sponsored this year’s poster competition. The winners of each of the three categories won  free annual individual membership to EuroFIR AISBL as well as a Nutritics research licence. The overall winner for the best poster across all three categories received an Apple Ipad.
