The main objective of BACCHUS was to develop tools and resources that facilitate the generation of robust and exploitable scientific evidence, which can be used to support claims of a cause and effect relationship between consumption of bioactive peptides and polyphenols, and beneficial physiological effects related to cardiovascular health in humans.

Outcomes of BACCHUS are focused on food producing SMEs that would like to submit health claim dossier and researchers that work in field of food and its effects on CVD.
