Due to high customer demand, dato Denkwerkzeuge now offers a new online nutritional calculation tool: nut.s – Online Rezept Rechner (nutritional-software.at).

For small food manufacturers, purchasing complex nutritional calculation software is not always economically feasible. This new tool provides a cost-effective way to calculate basic recipes without the need for advanced software. Users can access nutritional data from over 20,000 food items in the German and Austrian Food Composition Databases (BLS and ÖNWT). Results are presented in rounded figures according to nutrition labeling standards.

dato Denkwerkzeuge, an Austrian company specializing in nutritional software, has developed calculation platforms for the German food composition database BLS (www.mri.de), the Dishes program (www.rki.de), and modules of nut.s-nutritional software. Additionally, dato’s team of nutritionists compiles data for the Austrian food composition database ÖNWT, in collaboration with the Department of Nutritional Science at the University of Vienna.
