In 2020, the scope and protocol for a dietary intervention study were defined and potential locations identified. In 2021, preparation and execution of the study with users on site are being implemented.

This year, activities include agreements with responsible persons at the test location(s), ethical approval for the study, deployment of local SOPs and responsibilities, recruitment of participants, monitoring periods pre-study, completion of the intervention period (8-12 weeks, subject to covid-19 public health restrictions), review and adjustments, as necessary, and analysis of results. Sodexo is responsible for the on-site activities, KU Leuven for the ethics and user support, and Alberts for technical services.
